Tall, Dark, and Handsome!

Actually I am not that tall, and not that handsome, but I am dark. I am the oldest of 7 children in my family. Many times over in my life I have questioned if I really was born into the Aguilar family? Everyone else. in my family was so light skinned. I have shared before that I was raised in a predominately white world. I was told not to speak Spanish, because it was a dead language, I really did ask my mother for better soap so I could be white like my friends. I lived across the street from Orange groves and yearly I would see bus fulls of Mexicans come and pick oranges. All of my friends and myself refereed to them as Nationals. I had no idea that they were my people. Why the big secret????I know my mother just wanted the best life for me. I was a confused child who just wanted to fit in with the other kids. My mother went to a all brown middle school in Anaheim. She wanted my life to be easier than hers, so she encouraged me to just fit in and love everyone. Not one black person went to my elementary, middle, or High School. I met my first black brother at the Orange County jail. I spent 1 year in the county jail for 10 dollars worth of weed. The times they are a changing. I met one Japanese fellow in high school. Talk about a sheltered life? Sheltered from what? My family now is totally different when it comes to how I have raised them. Every race, every color, every flavor of people have lived in my home's. I remember being called a dirty Beaner in middle school, a filthy Hippie in High school, and hopeless dope fiend in my 20;s. In my 30;s I became a dirty biker for Jesus and still the judgement came at me. I am on a mission to make this world a better place. Pray for me, and if I can be a blessing to you, don't hesitate to call. www.setfreeanaheim.com
